When boarding at Meadow Hills Veterinary Center, your pet receives personal attention from a trained and educated staff, two healthful meals each day, and special care. Our boarders enjoy light, clean, spacious quarters with separate rooms for dogs and cats.
- Large dogs enjoy spacious indoor runs decorated with plants to add that "at home" feel. Small dogs have individual kennels with a view of the fenced grass yard, where all dogs are individually exercised twice daily.
- Cat owners may choose either an apartment or condo, which is double the space of an apartment. Housemates may share a condo. Cats also have a view of the outdoors.
- Music is provided to keep everyone entertained. If your dog has favorite music, bring a CD along and we will play it.
- Your pet stays in climate controlled comfort.
- You receive a report card on your pet's stay.
- At Meadow Hills, we feed and recommend Hill's Science Diet. However, you are welcome to provide your own food.
While you're away, pamper your pet with our special TLC (Tender Loving Care) Package. Your pet receives some combination of the following services depending on your wishes and your pet's interests:
- Brushing of haircoat and/or teeth
- 15 minutes of extra walking and exercise or indoor play
- Extra attention and Tender Loving Care from our kennel staff
If your pet will be staying with us often, ask us about our Frequent Boarder Discount Packages.
Additonal Optional Services include:
- Nail trim
- Thick fleece pad for arthritic pets
- Cleansing Bath (at no charge for short-haired dogs who stay 7 days or more)
- Medication administration
- Elective procedures, such as a dental cleaning, may also be completed while your pet boards with us.
Vaccine Guidelines
- We do require your pet's vaccines to be up-to-date for boarding. DHLPP-C, Rabies, and Bordetella (Kennel Cough) must be current for dogs. Cats need an FVRCP and Rabies. Please speak with our staff should you have any questions or need clarification on your pet's vaccine status. If your vaccines were administered at another veterinary clinic, please bring the vaccine certificates when you check in.
Remember this great time-saving tip:
- Shorten your check-in time: download a boarding form and fill it out at home. Then bring it along when your pet checks in. One form per pet, please.
